Carne
Master project
When I moved to Barcelona for my Master's in Motion Design, I wanted to make something that felt personal. So for a narrative animation project, I went back to Brazil, at least thematically.
Carne is a short explainer about agribusiness and its role in Amazon deforestation. I wrote the script, built the props by hand, photographed everything, and assembled the whole piece in the style of those Vox explainer videos that make complex topics feel urgent and digestible. A friend did the voiceover. The rest was me, a camera, and a lot of craft paper.
Made at BAU, Barcelona, 2018.
